Duck Anomaly - Looping Horror
Duck Anomaly - Looping Horror

Inspired by horror game Exit8 but with a cute little duck in a haunted village in Thailand!
Made it solo with help from a friend doing a few piece of art. The game is for GMTK Game Jam 2025 under the theme loop.

Concept:
Looping village scene, find the way out!
Direction:
Go straight through the village unless you find anomaly. If so, turn back immediately! WRONG TURN = RESET ALL PROGRESS

Challenge:
Escape this nightmare AS FAST AS POSSIBLE and earn your spot on the LEADERBOARD

Features:
Apart from Leaderboard, I also added Joystick for playing on mobile. Otherwise WASD or Arrow Keys for PC.

Developer Background:
Self-taught game dev hobbyist with passion to create FUN game. I go by Panduck Game Studio which really is just me at home in Bangkok Thailand.
I hope the game will bring joy to anyone who plays it. Constructive criticisms are welcome. The dream is to see one of the game takes off, so it can be develop in greater dept and length.

Request:
Please vote for me (obviously all 5 stars) and leave a comment. It means a lot.

I enjoyed the theme but it felt that the looping was strange
This happened to be my first of these anomaly games and it was very fun! I also may have messed up you leaderboard a bit...
The name I put in it was quite long (:
Thanks for playing man.
Just a piece of advice, genuinely, an AI generated summary of the game does not inspire the most faith in potential players, and implies that maybe parts of the game are too, so I would recommend writing your own store page even if it isn't quite as "snappy".
Cool. Thanks for the advice. Rewrite it myself already.
